Weave traditional village is located in hamlet 10, Vi Thang commune, Vi Thuy district. The village has more than 80 households in it, with typical products included: weaving Water Hyacinth, weaving bamboo baskets, etc.. Every year the village supplies to market around 180.000 products.

On November, 3rd 2020, Hau Giang, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with Vi Thuy District People’s Committee awarded the decision of Provincial People’s Committee, recognized the weave traditional village. This village contributes to promote trade name and image to customers. In the future, it will be built into a traditional village tourist destination that makes more effort to raise product quality.

Creative products were made by clever, brisk hands’ women. Income from weave business improved their living although it not much. The village’s products are bought by many companies and they supply them to domestic and international markets, at the moment.
