After a period of nomination, 11 new Asian Records for Vietnamese Cuisine and Specialties have been officially established by the Asian Record Organization according to the criteria of Asian Cuisine and Specialties Records in 2022. This is the third time that the Asian Record Organization has announced new Asian Records for Vietnamese cuisine and specialties after 2012 and 2013, with the nomination of VietKings.

After a period of nomination, 11 new Asian Records for Vietnamese Cuisine and Specialties have been officially established by the Asian Record Organization according to the criteria of Asian Cuisine and Specialties Records in 2022. This is the third time that the Asian Record Organization has announced new Asian Records for Vietnamese cuisine and specialties after 2012 and 2013, with the nomination of VietKings.

Based on the Top culinary specialties of 63 provinces and cities announced in 2021 - 2022, along with nominations from localities, VietKings has selected and nominated 15 dossiers to the Asian Record Organization for recognition. Accordingly, 11 nominations have been recognized by the Asian Record Organization and decided to announce the establishment on August 15, 2022, according to the criteria for Asian culinary and specialty records.

Previously, on July 16, 2022, at Hoa Binh Square, Vi Thanh city, the second "Huong Sac Hau Giang" contest took place, with the competition of 52 teams from districts, towns, cities, and culinary businesses in the province. The teams processed and decorated more than 208 dishes from pineapple and catfish. At this contest, the Vietnam Record Organization awarded 02 Certificates for "The event of processing and performing the most dishes from catfish in Vietnam" and "The event of processing and performing the most dishes from pineapple in Vietnam".

Known for a long time, Cau Duc pineapple - Hau Giang has been one of the famous specialties throughout the six provinces of the South. Cau Duc pineapple belongs to the Queen variety. The unique feature of this pineapple variety is that the fruit has an elegant shape, short stem, small core, bulging eyes, slightly deep eye sockets, dark yellow flesh, little fiber, little water, crispy and sweet. In particular, Cau Duc pineapple can be kept for 10 to 15 days without spoiling, large fruit weighs up to 2kg. The place where Hau Giang's famous pineapple variety is grown is in Tan Tien and Hoa Tien communes, about 10km from Vi Thanh city along National Highway 61 towards Rach Gia, Kien Giang province, it has been attached to this land for over 100 years.

After the recognized events, this is an opportunity for Cau Duc Pineapple and Hau Giang Catfish to affirm their position and continue to reach out, becoming known to many domestic and foreign diners.
