Improve tourism promotion skills for civil servants and public employees involved in tourism promotion activities.

On the morning of October 29, 2024, at the Hall of the Headquarters of the Provincial Specialized Associations, under the direction of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hau Giang province, the Tourism Promotion Center in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM organized the opening ceremony of the Training Course on tourism promotion and promotion for civil servants and public employees related to tourism promotion activities.

On the morning of October 29, 2024, at the Hall of the Headquarters of the Provincial Specialized Associations, under the direction of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hau Giang province, the Tourism Promotion Center in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM organized the opening ceremony of the Training Course on tourism promotion and promotion for civil servants and public employees related to tourism promotion activities. 

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Ho Ngoc Tu Anh, Head of Tourism Management Department, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hau Giang province, Mr. Le Minh Dung, Director of Tourism Promotion Center, Dr. Hoang Trong Tuan, Lecturer of Tourism Faculty, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM, and more than 30 students who are experts of Tourism Management Department, Tourism Promotion Center; Leaders, experts of Culture and Information Department, Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center of districts, towns and cities in the province; Civil servants working in culture, society and related communes, wards and towns in the locality. 

With the goal of improving the capacity of tourism promotion for civil servants and public employees related to tourism promotion activities in Hau Giang province, from October 29 to October 30, 2024, students learned about the following topics: Some theoretical and practical issues on tourism promotion; Market research activities and tourism product development; Building and publishing publications and communication materials; Using communication channels to promote tourism, etc.

From there, update and supplement knowledge about tourism promotion, help students equip with basic knowledge about information promotion, tools used in promotion; methods and steps to build a unique and attractive tourism product as well as apply E-marketing technology to promotion activities in the 4.0 technology era.
